Founded in 2000 under the name of Gonard Projects, the company was subsequently registered under the Indian Companies Act as Gonard Projects Pvt. Limited in June 2010. By January 2011, GPL converted into a Public Limited Company to meet the scaling demands of India's rapid development.

Over the years, GPL has earned an outstanding reputation by successfully completing a large number of prestigious residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and infrastructure projects across the nation.
